How to prove I didn't steal the iPhone?
I have service with this other student and he stole an iPhone from the teacher we have service with. I have two phones on me all the time. An iPhone and an HTC Sensation. He is blaming me that I stole it because I never had an iPhone. And honestly I've been having this iPhone since last year on December. The dean is believing the version of the other student! What do I do? This recently happened and I honestly don't know how to prove myself innocent! Please help. I'm sure he stole it and hid it somewhere.
Show him your iphone and ask him if he can recognize any scratches or markings his iphone had and see if their on yours. Also if you have a receipt you can show him that
Possession is 9/10 of the law
The iphone will have a unique registration code that is linked with who ever bought the product.call apple infront of the dean and tell them your situation, when you call out the registration code they will tell you the name of the person that bought it. If they don't say the teachers name it obviously isn't theirs
If you've had the phone since December, then you have had service since then. Simply get copies of your bills proving that you've had service for both phones. Show them to the Dean.
Show them your iphone if you've had it over a year the there will be alot of data on there to prove its yours

also if you take the battery out you should see a code sticker all phones have different codes
