How to put a ringtone on my iPhone 5s from iTunes?

If I want to buy a ringtone on iTunes what do I have to do to set it as my ringtone? My phone is on iOS 8.1.1.

First, you need a computer. Then, you need a song or audio file that you want to make a ringtone out of. Then, you will need software, like Quicktime, to edit the file with.

Using Quciktime, open the audio file you want to create a ringtone with. Then, you will need to edit that file down to a 40 second file. You can look on the Apple site as to how to do this. Then, save that file as an.mp4 file in a folder named "Ringtones". Then, navigate to the location of that file through the Finder (If you're on a Mac). Click on the file. Click on it again to make the name editable. Now change the file extension (.mp4) to.m4r.

Then, when you sync your iPhone to iTunes, you can use the menu of the iPhone to find that ringtone and include it in your sync.
