How to put a windows movie maker video on my iphone?
I'm editing a video, and I started editing it on windows live movie maker, but there are some effects I want to use on iMovie which I have on my phone. I tried emailing my video to my phone but it won't save because it doesn't save Windows Movie Maker videos on Apple phones, and I tried to convert the video to MOV and I tried to convert it specifically for an iPhone, but all the converters I tried do not convert Windows Movie Maker videos because it is "unrecognisable".
I really need this video from my computer to my iTunes or phone as soon as I can and I need to get the video some way to my phones Camera Roll!
If you can help, give step by steps, ect, that would be great!
Let me point out the issue here. Windows Movie Maker format is a saved project format. In other words, it saves the state of the changes of the video. To complete it and be able to be recognized by other editors, you will need to EXPORT that video to a format that is compatible with iMovie. A thing to consider is that when you export it, you will not be able to make direct changes to the video effects done by windows movie maker.
There's no mobile version of WMM
Try Video Converter Platinum. It can easily convert video to iPhone compatible formats for watching.
You don't say what version of Movie Maker you're using, if it's one of the newer, Windows Live, versions, on the Home tab, click on Save Movie and scroll down to the Apple iPhone option. Once it's saved for the iPhone, you should have no trouble opening it and using it on your iPhone.
You won't be able to move the project to your iPhone to continue editing it because the computer and the phone are two different platforms and Movie Maker and iMovie are two very different programs. Once the movie is on your phone you'll have to split it where you want to continue editing it.
Why not try to use anymp4 mac video converter platinum. It help me converter some hd video files to mp4 formats, thus, i can edit them with video editing software like imovie, final cut pro and so on. Besides, it supports multiple input/output video/audio formats. Hope i can help you. Have a good day.
- Windows movie maker won't play my videos Well I've been trying to import videos from my iPhone/folders into WMM, but whenever I do this it comes up with a message which says it doesn't support the programme (quick time player and iTunes). Does anybody know how I can fix this/or where to find another movie maker?
- Windows Movie Maker won't let me use a video I recorded with my iPhone 4? Why not? I open Windows Movie Maker, and I browse through my pictures/videos and it's not there. Every video I have with my webcam is there, but none of my videos with my iPhone is there. And I don't want to upload the video straight from my iphone because I know the quality will end up being terrible. What do I do?
- Windows movie maker quality I made a video from my iphone and the quality was really good. Then to edit in the Windows Movie Maker, i converted my video from quick player to wmv. Now I've just finished my video but the quality is not same as the first video. What should I do? PS: When i upload to youtube without Windows Movie Maker the quality is 720, with the maker it is seriously low.
- Why won't windows movie maker let me use my video? So i have videos from my iphone that i want to put on WMM, but it wouldnt let me because of the format. I installed a codec and converted it to AVI from. MOV and it won't let me look at the video, its just a black screen.
