How to put music on my iphone 4s? - 2
This is a stupid question, I understand this. I have not used itunes in quite a long time. The last time I did so, I could drag and drop songs onto my ipod. I have an iphone now and wanted to put music on it. The drag and drop feature is no longer there (obviously.)
I created a folder on my desktop for the select songs I want added to my iphone but have no idea how to get them here.
Help please!
Added (1). Ok so I checked the option where I can drag and drop music onto itunes. Great!
BUT! When I do that it's not automatically adding them to my phone. What do I do?
The music is on itunes on my PC but not on my phone.
This is what I understand works… You connect your iphone to the computer, and on the desktop the symbol of your phone will come up. Open iTunes, or it might come up automatically. The name of the phone (xyz's iphone, for example) will come up either in the left hand side under devices, or the top right. Click on it, and it will come up with the summary. If you click on the second label, music (up on the top) you'll see playlists, artists, genres, albums etc… There you can tag whatever artists you want. I'm explaining this for mac, but i'm pretty sure it's similar with pc. Also the folder won't be needed.

My family's iTunes library is huge and there's a lot of stuff I don't want - so I only want what is on my iPod. How can I sync only *my* iPod music to my iphone without losing my setup of apps and stuff that I have on my phone?

I need to put all my albums and music on my iphone but it was synced with another library i transfered files from my iphone to my itunes which has put all my apps on my laptop so if i sync it now it will delete all my apps obviously but if i just drag them will they go back on?
- How to put music on iPhone without iTunes? I know everyone says you can't or that you have to jailbreak it but there's gotta be a way that someone knows. I tried downloading the newest version of iTunes and when I went to click on it, it didn't work for me. So I tried over and over again to redownload it and still nothing!
- How to put music on iphone from different computer without erasing all music? Got a new computer. I have the new itunes store but it won't let me put music on my iphone. Everytime i plug it in it shows my iphone name, but when i click on it, it goes away. & i really want new music on my phone. Please help. Also i don't buy my music on itunes. & i have windows 8 pc.
