Use the silent switch on the top left
Flip the switch on the side of it
Slide the switch that's on the upper left side of your phone so it shows orange.

- Why does my iphone randomly vibrate? I got the iphone 4s less than 4 weeks ago in america on Holiday, a few days later ios 5.1.1 update came out so I downloaded it. I've been home almost 2 weeks now and for the last few days it has been vibrating when charging, its really annoying, it seems to happen most when i'm using an app which is not so good for me as i'm trying to get my high score on temple run (currently 2 million).so any advice would be helpfull, anyone else had this issue?
- (UK) Iphone 4 stuck on vibrate mode? I have tried restoring my phone, turning it on and off, checked all the settings and YES switched the thing on the side of the phone. But i can't get it to make a sound, it just vibrates… Anyone know how to restore the sound to my phone?

- My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on? I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6). My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message. In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
