How to put my iPhone 4S into vibrate mode?
I have a new iPhone case but it stupidly doesn't have a slot where I can switch the phone into vibrate or sound. Is there I way I can put my phone into silent using the settings instead of the switch on the side? I don't want to have to remove the case every time I want to switch to vibrate.
Go onto Settings.
Go onto Sounds.
There's a white bit that says 'Vibrate'. With a 'Silent' above it. Make sure that it is on - blue.

There's the assistivetouch. Go to settings, to general, scroll down to the bottom to accessibility. Scroll to the bottom again to the assistivetouch. Turn it on and hit the home button out of your settings. You should see a dark square with a white circle on your screen or in a corner on your screen. Touch that, go to device and at the left of the options touch the mute. That will easily switch your phone between sounds and vibrate.
- What happens when you put your iphone into dfu mode when its turned on? I had my iphone on and put it into dfu mode( i think thats what its called ) but i held down the home and power button for ten seconds and then let go of the power button and continued to hold the home button for another ten seconds. My screen went black and now it won't turn on! I plugged it into itunes and restored it. Will that fix everything. If not help me please!
- (UK) Iphone 4 stuck on vibrate mode? I have tried restoring my phone, turning it on and off, checked all the settings and YES switched the thing on the side of the phone. But i can't get it to make a sound, it just vibrates… Anyone know how to restore the sound to my phone?
- My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on? I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6). My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message. In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
- My iphone 5 will only vibrate and not ring. Yes, the volume is all the way up. I checked. I went into settings and choose a ringtone? All this phone does is vibrate. Any ideas on what the problem can be. I have tried turning the power off and restarting the phone still only vibrates and does not ring. It worked.
