How to put pictures from my iPhone to my computer without iCloud? - 1
I need to put images from my iphone 4 to my computer but my computer doesn't have the latest version of whatever so I can't use icloud. I was hoping for some sort of drag and drop option? You know like with other simpler phones you plug it into your computer, there's a folder, you drag and drop what you want onto your desktop and its done? Can I do that? Or is there any other option other than using icloud?
Ah do this plug your iphone to your computer then when it pops up click where it says your name of the device then it should say summary or something then look at the top should say photo then click browse then chose the files then click sync
There's two ways here's the easier way
1. This might be updated and not work anymore but it should work where you can plug your phone into the computer then go to my computer and your computer recognizes it as a thumbdrive and you can go I'm there and they all will be in one of the folders on there
2. If that doesn't work plug your phone into your computer and go to itunes then go to your phones info and at the top where it says photos click there and make sure 'sync photos' is checked (its probably not) and then click apply and sync your phone and then your pics will be in itunes and you can drag and drop them out of there
But you can fix your icloud problem by just clicking update itunes whenever you open it it will tale like 4-6 min to download then click install and that will take like 30 seconds and then you can use icloud on your computer
- My mom died last year and now all of her pictures died too. Restore without iCloud? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- If i sync my iPhone to my computer will it take my photos off my phone and put them on the computer? I need to have my phone synced for the app zedge but i don't want my photos to be taken off my phone. There's this bar and on it it says photos, app, ect. And next to it is a little button that says sync. So IIm guessing it will take my photos. But i don't want that to happen but i need to sync my phone. Is there anyway i can do it without having my pictures going on to the computer?
