How to reactivate my Iphone from verizon wireless?
I was in a family plan with 5 iphones but they shut our phones off due to Late payments. BUT i want my own account now because i'm working and all that. I want to reactivate my phone but i don't know how to? Do i call verizon store? Or go in person? Or what? :.
Well, you will have to do one or the other. Call or go in and see what you can work out.
Normally, you will call or go to a verizon store or go online, look a the plans, make up yoru mind, get a plan, tell an agent, turn on phone, phone actuivated, you go home and have a beer.
But not for you… As being part of a CDMA carrier (Verizon, Sprint, Virign Mobile, Cricket, etc), if you were or are under contract OR have a unpaid bill balance, then YOU AND OTRIGINAL ACCOUNT HOLDER STILL HAVE ACCOUNT OBLIGATIONS WITH VERZION… Your ESN is frozen to the orginal account and line, making your phone non-flashable to any CDMA account or CDMA carrier on Planet Earth… This is called "BAD ESN"… The biggest scam on Ebay and Craiglist… There are no IFs ANDs or BUTTs… Facts of life… Deal with it… In regards to iphones, CDMA Iphones with a BAD ESN are nothing more than very very very expensive ipods…
your fix:
TELL THE ORIGINAL ACCOUNT HOLDER TO PAY THE!#$^! ING BILL DOWN TO $0.00… When that happens, Verizon releases the ESN. Now you can transfer it to another Verizon Account, like your own.
IF the Original Account holder refuses to pay the bill… Then congratulations! You ar ea proud owner of a very very very $599 ipod touch… It will NEVER call or text or get on cellular data… Ever… Again… Ok cupcake? Enjoy!
