How to Read Books on Goodreads App?

So I downloaded an app onto my iPhone called goodreads
It lets you read books on there but I don't know how to download or read the book
There's a bar that says "read" "currently reading" and "about to read" I added a book into about to read but every time I try to click it to read it just shows to description so how can I read the full book on the app and how can I download the Book?

Goodreads isn't an app that lets you read books, it's an app for book reviews, summaries and other stuff but you can't download books on there. When it says read, currently read, and about to read, is just a way to let people know what books you've read and want to read. I love goodreads because it has a lot of cool features.

I think you're confused about what the app does. It's not for reading ebooks. Goodreads is a site where people review and share recommendations of books. The app lets you track what books you are currently reading, what progress you've made and what books you've already read. If you want to read a book, you have to purchase and download it from an online store and read it on a compatible reader. For example, you can purchase and download it from Amazon and read it in the Kindle Reader app, or purchase and download from B&N and read it in the Nook app.

Okay I go on goodreads website, but I don't have the app, but I think I know what you are talking about. Goodreads is a website where people review books and look for more books to read based on what they've read. I have the same "read", "currently reading" and "about to read". You put books in about to read if you want to read them in the future, and you put books in read if you have already read them. I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood what the app said. You can't read any books on the website(I don't know about the app) because they don't have the copyright and stuff like that. Sorry for the bad news, but I don't think you can read the books on that app. Check out the website, I use it alot to look for more books. The author to the book you want to read is probably a member to the website. Also, they have book contests on the website to win free books and I think everybody on the site has got at least one before (at least there's good news).
