How to record good quality singing?
Okay so I know the title isn't very specific or anything, I didn't know what to put. But I'm 13, and I sing. I want to make a cd, I have a few friends that could hook me up with some real record recorders, but it's really expensive. I feel like I could just record myself singing, download it onto a cd, and boom. But I don't know how to record it with good quality. I've tried to record it with my iphone 4, it doesn't really sound that great, also with my laptop webcam. But it doesn't sound great either. So I was wondering if anybody knew any software I could download that could maybe make it sound a little more clear, or a different way I could record it, some kind of microphone I could buy.
If you want to record you singing in a good quality, you should get a good quality mike first. Then with that good quality mike record yourself in a noise-free room.
If you want to record good quality singing you have to DO good quality singing otherwise with more equipment you just sound BAD but with more quality of BAD.
Good singing comes after at least 5 years of offline face to face singing lessons with a qualified singing teacher, and lots of personal hard work.
The reason that your singing sounds bad on your recordings that you have made is because that is how you sound. This is your real singing. If you don't like it you need some lessons.

So I recently met a famous guy in concert and when I got a picture wth him I was getting a video and my friend used her phone to video it. So she sent it to me and it was like terrible quality and the video was like little with a huge black border around it. But yet it looks perfectly fine on her phone? How do I fix it? - Just got Spotify Premium. Switched the music quality to extreme, and the quality isn't good? There must be something that I have to do because the quality sounds the same, even though I switched it to extreme. I made sure that I wasn't imagining it - I played my iTunes copy and it sounded so much better. This is the iPhone app, if that matters. What's the solution?
