How to record iPhone audio with camera footage?
If I wanted to record a conversation with someone through my iPhone headphones then how would I link that to a separate camera? I'm really new to this stuff?
There are not easy ways, but only complicated ways.
1. If your camera had microphone input that looks like a headphone jack input and a separate headphone output, you can try connecting your phone with an aux cable which would be connected from your mobile headphone out to your camera microphone input. The problem here is that if your camera can't make you listen to live microphone input from you camera headphone output, then you won't be able to hear the person's talking.
2. Put your mobile on loudspeaker and keep it near the camera and talk. Problem here is that everybody will listen incase you wanted to keep the conversation private.
3. If you own a android mobile there are voice recording apps, you can record your conversations on the phone while you're recording video from your separate camera. Then you will have to merge them in PC using any movie editing apps. The problem here is either lack of skills or you don't have the software or sometimes a problem with android voice recorder [which is sometimes it doesn't record the conversation properly].
- Why won't my iPhone record audio when I take a video? Every time I try to record a video with my iPhone it won't pick up the audio. All I here is this static noise. Sometimes I can barley hear my voice behind all the static. It just randomly started happening. When I record in voice memo it picks up my voice just fine. Phone calls work fine too. It just doesn't work when I try to take a video.

Currently the footage has no slow motion effect and he wants to send the footage to me so I can view it in real time. He is experiencing trouble with exporting the footage off his phone. Any tips?

- I dropped my iPhone 3GS audio port down into coffee and my audio does not work When I try to turn up my volume it says headphones but my headphones still work. I Tried it on speaker phone it still works how can I get my audio working agen!
