How to record video while playing audio on iPhone?

Just curious if there's a solution to this. I'd like to be able to use my iPhone as a dash cam without sacrificing my music while driving.

Record your video. Install CineBeat from the App Store, and add the music that way.

Can't. The iPhone (any phone for that matter) will kill the audio when recording a video as to not distort what is being heard during the video.

I think it works if you have a headphone jack with a play button on it

  • Why won't my iPhone record audio when I take a video? Every time I try to record a video with my iPhone it won't pick up the audio. All I here is this static noise. Sometimes I can barley hear my voice behind all the static. It just randomly started happening. When I record in voice memo it picks up my voice just fine. Phone calls work fine too. It just doesn't work when I try to take a video.
