How to recover lost photos on my iPhone?
All my photos were gone when I upgraded my iOS to 8.1. The initial attempt was failed. Right now, I lost everything on my iPhone 6, but I'm more cared about my photos, which is very important for me.
The second that happened, you should have call APPLE.
The reason that you back up things that are "IMPORTANT" to you, is that these things happen. Had you had the phone stolen, you's have the exact same problem. Had the phone falling into a lake/ocean/bottomless pit, same problem. Backing up the important stuff one a week, month, year would have saved at least one or two of your "IMPORTANT" pictures.
NOW it is time to call APPLE to see if there's a FIX for the update caused issue.
Which part of "Back your phone up before doing the upgrade" or "synch with iTunes" regularly did you miss?
With any luck at least some of the photos are already on your computer and just in a different place (not on your phone). Then you can just re-synch. Otherwise you may be out of luck - please learn from this.
To recover lost photos on your iPhone, you need to connect iPhone to computer, and then open "Computer", iPhone should show as a drive letter there. If not, please follow these instructions: In iTunes, right click on your iPhone and select "iPhone Options". Under the "iPhone" tab, make a tick in "Enable Disk Use". Click OK. Unplug your iPhone, then replug.
Now follow steps below
