How to recover music & text messages from an iPhone - Teen died suddenly?
I'm helping a lady I know with recovering info from her son's phone. He was 16 and died suddenly. She has his phone and is able to access it. By looking at his phone, I can see that he did a wi-fi sync to the family's pc on 2/9.
She has been able to recover all of his photos.
How can I make sure she has recovered all his music and texts? Any good software out there? She does not know his iTunes password.
Appreciate any help.
1. If her son is usually back up with itunes. You can use 3rd-party tools to extract the content from the backup file, without password.
2. 3rd-part recovery tools also can scan iphone and recover deleted texts and music (iPhone 4 only) to computer in.html format.
3. Ask for Apple support for help, restting passwords or anything else. Apple support is very good.
Will need software to transfer texts. Nothing in iTunes can do that.
