How to remove icons from Safari in ios 7?

I have installed the new ios 7 on my iPhone 5 & there are some things I can't figure out. On the Safari page there were some icons at the top of the page & when I bought something from the Apple store, an icon from that appeared on there too. I cleared the Safari history & cookies, did a hard reset & they are still there.

Bookmarks > Favourites > Edit > Remove

  • Will updating from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 remove everything? I know that if you 'Majorly' update your iPhone it will erase everything from your iPhone like updating ios 4 to ios 6, but what if you are just updating your iPhone from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 on the same version, is there any difference or it will also remove everything?
  • Is there an app from cydia that allows me to change the images of other app icons? My iPhone has jailbreak and I would like to know if there's an app that let me choose and change the picture of other apps… Just to look more appealing I guess… So please let me know
  • Icleaner deleted some app icons how do I fix it? I have a jailbroken iPhone 4, 5.1.1 and I downloaded Icleaner and it cleaned up my phone but in the process it deleted the icons off of all the default iPhone icons ( the icons that are on the phone when you first buy it like messages weather safari calc and so on) so now the default icons just have a white square as the thubnail. IS THERE ANY Way TI FIX THIS IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY! I've tried using different themes and nothing is working.
  • How to restore icons after ios 7 download? Downloaded ios 7 onto iphone and now all the icons from App Store have disappeared from screen. I can only access them though the App Store under 'Updates' They are all up to date. I can't find a way of uninstalling them and then re installing. I have tried a new app which has displayed as usual but can anyone help with all the others please? Janice Tom - I had tried restarting and just tried it again - no luck I'm afraid.
