How to remove nail polish from my iPhone 5s?
I got a little bit of nail polish on the gray/metal (?) back of the phone. I don't want to test out nail polish remover before I know it's safe… I think it might ruin the phone itself. Any suggestions?
Nail polish remover should work as long as the case of the phone isn't plastic, it wiil melt plastic but not metal
if its plastic then maybe rubbing alcohol will work or you could carefully scrape it off with a nail file then if it has any scratches, as long as they are not deep you can use a tiny dab or car polish ( wax ) or toothpaste ( gel, not paste, paste has grit in it ) to clean it up
Use a non-acetone nail polish remover on glass, plastic or metal. When you apply it use a Q-tip and ONLY apply it to the polish. Dab on, let it sit, wipe off with alcohol, repeat, until the polish has been removed.
Use thinner, but make sure, it won't spill on your iPhone's Hardware and also you should have Leo Privacy Guard in order to gain total security on your device.

- Spilled nail polish remover on my iPhone? - 1 I just got a iPhone 5 (shitty phone) but I spilled nail polish remover on it and it didn't touch the screen but it touched the back and you can see water marks when you turn on my phone. - Nail polish remover on my iPhone? I accidentally spilled nail polish remover on my iPhone 6s. At first nothing happened, but then I looked and there's a gray haze on the top part of the screen. Everything else works fine. I had it in rice for about a day and a half and now am using it. I called apple and have an appointment set up to have them see what they can do, but does anyone know if this will be just a screen repair or a full phone repair? Should I not use it until the appointment (2 days from now)?
