How to remove sharpie from plastic?
Hi! I used sharpie to decorate my blank white iPhone case and then i used clear nail polish cover it but it smudged. So i was wondering if you know any method that will help get rid of the sharpie while the nail polish is covering it. Please please please help and reply!
Use the nail polish remover to remove the nail polish and it may remove the smudged sharpie. There's no way you can remove the sharpie under the nail polish without removing the nail polish first
You really really need to learn a few things about the world you live in. Sharpie dissolves in acetone, which also dissolves most plastics. Your Sharpie didn't just mark your phone, it engraved it. If you try to remove the mark you will only be pushing the plastic around and making it worse.
It appears that you can get skins for your iphone. That is your only hope.
Someone mentioned nail polish remover. Some nail polish is lacquer, so acetone will dissolve it, and that is what remover is: acetone. Some polish is made of enamel and it does not dissolve in acetone. So don't assume that the bottle marked "Nail Polish Remover" will always remove your nail polish.
