How to remove these pop up ads?

I'm running Google chrome on my windows 7 computer and recently certain words are being highlighted for no apparent reason. But when I scroll over these words an advertisement pops up, usually about winning an iPhone 5. Does anyone know any way how I can get rid of these?

1. Download and run TDSSKiller [ http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.exe ] and do a full system scan removing anything found. Reboot if required.

2. Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware [ http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php ], update its definitions and do a full system scan in safe mode.

3. Download and run ComboFix [ http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/ ].

4. Download and run AdwCleaner [ http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ ].

5. Remove unneeded extensions from Google Chrome [ http://support.google.com/...wer=113907 ].

6. Reset the search engine, if needed [ http://support.google.com/...swer=95653 ].

You should scan your computer with AdwCleaner and Malwarebytes.

  • Why further action on Craigslist ads? I keep posting in the personals through my iPhone app and it used to just post from there. Nowadays it says further action required, sends me an email, then I have to click a link, then accept terms then it posts. It's not that bad but anyone know why it's doing that?

I know for a fact that I've download a file instead of a App, and have tried to delete through the settings apps, but it doesn't let me delete any flies, only apps.   • How to stop pop up ads in iphone apps? Ok so there was this app called tubex, but then they made a new app called tubie. Whenever i try to get into tubex where all by playslists are there's a pop up not letting me into the app. Any way to stop the pop up add? Even if i have to jailbreak my phone?
