How to remove weather notifications from my iphones calendar?
My mums iphone keeps giving her alerts for the weather the next day and it is really bacically annoying, i've tried going into the weather apps and checking the settings and going into the iphone notification settings.
anybody got and ideas. Any answers given are very much appreciated
First you will need to go into the Settings app on your iPhone. Then find Notifications near the top, and tap on it.
Here you will find a list of the apps installed on your iPhone that use some sort of alert or notification. Scroll through and find either the stock widget and/or weather widget in the list.
Tap on whichever one you would like to turn off. Tap on the switch to turn the widget off; once done, the switch will read Off. Press the back arrow titled Notifications when you are done. If you scroll to the bottom of the list, you will see that both of the widgets are now in their own section, aptly titled "Not in Notification Center."
This is where you would go to turn either of the widgets back on, if you change your mind down the road. As you can see, this clears up a lot of room in Notification Center, and can make for a better overall experience with the new alert system. Now, you just need someone, or something, to send you some alerts to take up all that blank space.
- Why do iphones randomly go off without displaying notifications? I'm in a hotel with a friend and at 12:44 to night both her phone and mine lit up. I assumed that someone had sent something in a group message, but neither of us had any notifications on our phones. Not two minutes later it happened again and this time the phones vibrated. I don't have any clie as to why this happened and I'm curious to see if there's any explanation for this phenomenon. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

- What weather app reads weather alerts to you? I was in the dentist today and this ladies phone went off and said "A tornado watch has been issued for your area" Her phone was in her back pocket. I want to know what app this is so I can download it. She had an IPhone. I was going to ask what it was but before I got a chance they called her in the back.
