How to reset iPhone to default?

I recently broke my iPhone so my mom got me one from someone at her work who no longer works there. I tried to reset my phone through settings>general>reset>erase all content and settings. Which went smoothly until it prompted me for the previous owner's Apple ID password which I have no way of finding out… Help?

There should be an option to reset the iPhone in the settings app

Have you tried doing it through iTunes? It might work that way

  • Where can I get IPhone Pink flower default wallpaper? I updated someone's iPhone and the new 6.1.3 update for iPhone 4S deleted it and now I need to find where to get it. It was a wallpaper that was always there and now I replaced with another one but I need that wallpaper! It's a pink flower facing sideways to the left and it has water droplets on it. I'm sure you have seen it. Please give me the link or download for it!
  • WHAT IS THE IPHONE'S DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINE? For some reason mine changed. I don't know what happened. I want the default one but I've tried changing it to yahoo, google and bing but none of them look familiar/similar to my old one. I have the latest version of IOS and i have an iPhone 4S. I've never changed it before please tell me which one.
  • What is the default voicemail password on my iPhone? I recently got the iPhone 5. Today, a notification randomly showed up asking for my voicemail password. Since I never set one up, I figured maybe it was my phone number. I tried that, along with the area code, and when that didn't work it tried the last four numbers of my phone number. That didn't work either. I called AT&T and got to voicemail help, and it wouldn't let me go any further without knowing my password.
  • IPHONE SETTINGS WON't CHANGE FROM DEFAULT? So my sounds/ringtones are all in default and when I try to change them they won't change, it's not frozen just when I click on a non default sound it changes back. My reminders all got deleted along with my calandars. Also the battery percentage display in the top corner will not show up when I try to change it. This has been very annoying and I need to know how to fix it.
