How to restore an iphone in dfu mode?

So, I jailbroken my iphone 4 ver 6.1, everything went well, till i needed to "just boot" in redsnow. I booted the iphone but it didn't open. So i restarted(holding the power button and home button), after that it started up but there was no cydia, I couldn't see any videos(in Youtube and Facebook) it said "playback fail". This things never happened before! So i entered iTunes and click restore, there was an error (3194) and I can't update anymore!

Why were you using "just boot" in redsnow? I'm pretty sure thats only for tethered jbs. Here's what i'd do: Put your phone in dfu mode. (hold home and power about 10 seconds, then let go of power and continue holding home for about 10 seconds.) Then option-click (if on mac) the restore button in iTunes. Choose the correct 6.1.2 ipsw (found here: http://www.redmondpie.com/download-ios-6.1.2-for-iphone-ipad-ipod-touch-direct-links/ ) Let that run its course and restore. After thats done and you're running on iOS 6.1.2, download version. 1.4 of evasion (found here: http://evasi0n.com ) and run the JB following its instructions. After thats done you should be finished and running an untethered jb.

ps. Just so it doesn't happen again i would stay away from redsnow unless you're downgrading or saving/submitting ssh blobs

Turn it off and restart it.

I had my iphone on and put it into dfu mode( i think thats what its called ) but i held down the home and power button for ten seconds and then let go of the power button and continued to hold the home button for another ten seconds. My screen went black and now it won't turn on! I plugged it into itunes and restored it. Will that fix everything. If not help me please!
