How to restore photos and messages from my iPhone which is lost?
I lost my iphone at an event yesterday and couldn't find it eventhough i tried using the Find my iPhone app. So, i bought a new one, (a second-hand actually), and i want to restore back all my photos, notes, contacts, messages and everything that is important from my previous iPhone to my new one. How do i do that?
It depends if you have backed up the photos somehow. For example, if you have a computer you could have synced the device's memory to your computer storage. Most people back up their photos with iCloud. Unfortunately if you haven't done either of these things, you're out of luck.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- Updated iphone 5 to ios8 and lost photos and access to phototstream? Just updated iphone 5 from ios7 to 8 and now can't access all the photos which were on my photostream? The albums still appear in my phone which i created but there are no photos and none of them have backed up onto my computer. - Text messages lost after iphone restore? I recently dropped my phone, breaking the screen. While the screen was broken, the phone itself was still functional even though the display showed nothing. I could feel text alerts coming in as I took it to get repaired, unfortunately the only backup I had was from before those texts were sent so i no longer have them on my phone. Is there a way I can view the texts that were sent to me while my display was broken?
- My photos are not sending in group messages, but are sending in individual messages? I'm with Straight Talk Wireless. At first my pictures were sending in the group message but now they are not. I don't know what's wrong, all my settings are what they are suppose to be, and I'm currently on an iPhone 5s IOS 8.4.
