How to run GTA SA faster on iPhone 4?

I know it was never officially supported on iPhone 4 but I need a way to do this. I spent $6.99 on something I can't use. No I don't want a refund, but a way to run this game faster on a single core phone. At first, it was ok and it started to run fairly. Then, at 6AM when I played it before class, it was an acceptable rate of lag until the frame rate dropped so low, I saw CJ at one point and then somehow having a delayed teleport. I want my GTA back

Well iphone 4 is pretty old, I had one (before it was stolen and destroyed) and I had lag on most games here are some tips to speed up the phone:
Delete messages
Double tap home button and swipe up to delete apps (or hold down then click the cross if you are still using ios6)
Delete unused apps try have at least 1gb of free space
Get a memory optimise app such as 'battery doctor' is frees up ram.
Hold the off button when the "slide to power off" appears, hold the home button until the apple icon appears.
The best thing to do would be a factory restore but you loose all data on the phone.
