How to save all my stuff on my iphone before i switch phones?
I'm getting a new iphone, and i have to ship my old one out before my new one comes. Is there a way i can save everything so when my new one comes i can put everything back on? Does icloud do this? I'm really worried i will lose my apps, pics, contacts etc.
Isn't this what iTunes is supposed to be for?
You could get a memory card or micro sd card
You should be able to back your phone up to iTunes and it will save all of your photos, messages, contacts, apps, music… Etc. If you have iCloud on your iPhone that will work also. I prefer iCloud personally because you just save your stuff over a wi-fi connection and then when you get your new iPhone all you will have to do is just set your new iPhone up from the backup you did to iCloud.
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
