How to save your iPhone music to your iTunes?

What I do with "my music" is:

- I don not buy it, which I think it's illegal.lol
- Download it from a website: Youtube to Audio MP3, so I copy the youtube link and download the audio from the site.
- I have like 99% of my music downloaded from that website and would like to know how to actually save it to my iTunes, iCloud or whatever in case my phone breaks, gets stolen/whatever happens to it?
- When I download the music I have to type myself the name of the song in the "songs" column and the artist name in the "artist" column (because sometime when I download the music it automatically sets the author and name of song in the "song" column)
- I would like to start downloading but with the name of the album, year, gene, etc.

Does anyone know? 10 EZ pts.

I believe that if I click sync in my iPhone Library it will erase it from it, so I'm scared on what to do.

I have to admit, but I also use this site quote often to download music. And I have the same problems as you.

As soon as you download a song off of YouTube, it should automatically go into your iTunes. The only problem with this, is that, if you lose the song off of your device, you will not be able to redownload the song from your library. This is because as soon as you log off of your computer, your iTunes account forgets where the file came from. So from what I know, there's no way to recover songs that you have deleted unless you find the song again on YouTube. However, if you sync your device to your library in order to download more music, the music that is already there will not be deleted.

Hope this helps!

So let me get this straight, you have no problem stealing music, but you never bothered to do something just as easy, almost as cheap and as completely legal as saving your music to CD ir DVD? A single CD can hold about 700 songs when used as a data cd; for a DVD the capacitty is about 6x as much.

"I would like to start downloading but with the name of the album, year, gene, etc."

You would have to download from dedicated mp3 sites and not streaming audio sites. Even so, there's no guarantee that the info would be correct.

"I click sync in my iPhone Library it will erase it from it"

From the phone, not the computer.

Also, if you're afraid of syncing… Don;t. Use manual management instead.
