How to see 6 month old text messages on the iPhone?
I have a long string of undeleted text messages lasting over 6 months on my iPhone 4. I want to go back and look at the first few ones. Is there a way to do this faster than manually clicking 'Load Earlier Messages' and scrolling up until I get there?
You can always search for specifics, or tap the persons name in the conversation twice and it will bring you to the load earlier button faster
If you know a word used in any of those texts you could search in the Messages app or through Spotlight & find them that way.
- My iPhone froze up and now it won't let me see my text messages? Me and my girlfriend were sending each other kissy faces and then she sent a lot in one message and then my iPhone froze up and now I can't view my text messages. Every time I try to open the text icon, it shows a blank screen for about 45 seconds and then goes back to the home screen.

So my screen for my iPhone 5c is really messed up and i can't unlock it anymore or do anything with it really, so I have to get a new phone, but there are a few text messages that are kind of important that I'd really like to keep and if there was a way to access them through a computer that would be perfect.
