How to sell something on Craigslist?

I wanna sell my iPhone 4S, it's kind of scratched on the back but I just need money FAST! How do I sell it on Craigslist? Please help! How fast do you think it would sell? How much?

I'm trying this also… BUT, what EVER YOU DO, if someone want to buy it, tell them to bring CASH, NO CHECKS… CASH ONLY, AND meet this person in a busy safe place… INSIDE a restaurant, etc… Bring a friend with you, preferably a male friend, there are some crazy people on Craigslist, do a search. There has been some killings… You sound young, please do not be stupid!

I agree with the other answers… Plus you need to say which carrier your phone is for (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, etc.) and make sure it's not activated on your account anymore.

As far as how much to sell it for, look at your local Craigslist and see what other people are selling them for, and then lower your price by about 10-20% (since many people ask for too much money on Craigslist).

Price is key to it selling fast. It needs to be just under what others are selling for. It looks like $200 or slightly more may be reasonable depending on condition. If it's almost new, maybe upwards of $275.
