How to send as SMS not IMessage?
I recently got the iPhone 5 on Verizon but I found out after when sending an iMessage when you don't have Wi-Fi uses up part of your data. However I know that in your settings you can turn your cellular data off and then it sends as a text, but then I don't receive the reply until my data is turned back on. Is there any way to fix this, or send regular SMS texts to other iPhone users so I don't have to use part of my data?
You go under settings>messages>slide imessage off. And that will only use text.yeah if you turn that off it will safe some of your data.
Turn off iMessage.
- ON IPHONE, How do i send a text a email address as a SMS and not MMS? On my basic phone, I can text a email address without it being MMS. Now on my iPhone, it only can text email addresses using MMS. This requires data. Does apple IPHONES not know how to text a email address? I don't want to use data to text email address? I might as well just use email.

At random times, whenever I try to iMessage my friend who has just a iPod Touch, where you type in the message will say "Text Message" instead of "iMessage." is there a way to fix this so it will always send as a iMessage instead of Text?
- IMessage won't send to another iPhone with iMessage? So my iMessage works to all my friends that have iMessage except one friend in particular. He has iMessage on his phone and can iMessage all his friends but he can't iMessage me. We both have iMessage turned on on our phones but they simply will not iMessage each other.
