How to I send Wi-Fi from my laptop to my iPhone? I have a toshiba laptop and I use a AT&T USB chip for my Internet. Please make really obvious steps cause I'm kind of dumb when it comes to that stuff.
Generally, what you just described, is impossible unless you have special hardware built into your laptop. I wish I could help you further, but the best thing to do at this point is to contact AT&T and buy one of their routers that broadcasts a 3G or 4G signal, other than that, I can't help you.

You can't send a wireless / Wi-Fi signal from a laptop to a smart phone.
You can sync a smart phone to a laptop to transfer files or use the smart phone by tethering it to the laptop to get wireless service to the laptop.

Talk to your AT&T service provider on your options for using the iPhone for a wireless / Wi-Fi connection and connecting your iPhone through the mobile USB air card chip if possible.
