How to set profile as private?
On here on an iPhone not an app
Switch to Desktop Mode first via the link at the bottom of the screen.
Go to Answers Home and click the Wrench shaped icon on your profile page…
Under sharing and network set the Q&A option to Whom I Follow Only…
Then only your following (the people you add) can see your old Q's. Followers are the people who add you. If you decide to add someone back, then they can view your Q&A. Note: Your questions and answers can easily be found on search engines even if your activity is private.
If you want nobody at all viewing your Q&A from your profile, select "Whom I Follow" and remove any users that you follow (via unfollow button on their profile), and don't follow any more users… You can do the same with your Network if you do not want others to know with whom you are associated with.
Change to desk top first. Here is the best you can do on the new YA.Go below.
Click on the wrench right side in your profile window.
Under Sharing and Network. Choose.
Share my QnA with
"Everyone", "whom I follow and followers, or "whom I follow only"
next line:
Share my Answers network with: Everyone", "whom I follow and followers, or "whom I follow only"
A Contact is someone you follow.
Fan is someone who follows you.
Click save at the bottom. To completely hide your activity from everyone you must have no followers.
- When i go on my Instagram profile it says i'm private and can't see my own photos? I have tried deleting the app and then reinstalling it and restarting the device (iphone 4) also tried loging out and in and i know my account is not private it doesn't say it is in the settings.
- Twitter profile won't load on iphone? My tweets, followers and following don't show and when i press on view profile it says null and takes ages to reload. Tried to refresh and turn phone off and on but nothings working
- Set an old profile picture on Facebook - iPhone? I want to use an old profile picture as my new one however when I set it as profile picture I have to crop it (even if it stays te same size) and sets the same picture as my profile picture but without the likes/comments which means I have two of the same photo In the album. How can I use the photo as my profile picture but keep all the likes and comments?
- Safari Private Browsing History not Private? So I've got an iPhone 4 and recently found out that there's actually a way to view the history of your private tab. Is this true? If so, I wanted to know how to delete it.
