How to set up Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4?

How do I set up Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4?

Simple.
Take the battery out of the iphone. Remove sim card. Hold power and home button for 5-10 seconds. Put battery and sim card back in. Turn on phone. WALAH.

Go onto 'Settings' 'Wi-Fi' turn on Wi-Fi and then enter your password etc.simple!

  • Will iTunes wipe out my iPhone data if it wants to Set as New iPhone? I've owned an iPhone 5s for over a year, it's currently running iOS 10.3.3 but I've just connected to iTunes for the first time however I only get 2 options, either "Set it up as new iPhone" or "Restore from an old backup", but that last backup is from 2015. So, if if I select "As New iPhone" will it wipe out my data?
  • What happens when I set up as New iPhone? I reset all network settings on my iPhone because my internet wasn't working, now it gives me three options 1) set up as new iphone, would that delete everything i have saved? Ie: games, texts, emails, notes? 2) restore from iCloud backup. I can't do this one cause apparently i don't have WI-FI or so it says. 3) Restore from iTunes backup. Which I chose this option, but it doesn't do anything.
  • Set up a new iPhone 4S but no network connection? I've just got a new iPhone 4S and I've set it all up but my phone doesn't have network connection when it should have as all my family are on the same network and they all have connection. Is there anything I should have done? I remember on my old iPhone I had to insert my number somewhere but I couldn't remember where? Can anybody help me with this?
  • If I set up a new iphone from an icloud backup, what happens to the old iphone? Will the data and apps automatically be deleted from the old iphone, or will it stay there until i delete it manually?
