How to setup a prepaid Verizon iPhone 4?
A friend of mine is selling his iPhone and is willing to take $100. The only problem is that it's the CDMA model (Verizon).Is there a pre-paid service that uses Verizon towers? Also, how do I go about activating it if I buy it?
I've never owned a verizon phone, so I don't know.
Added (1). Ah. Is there a way I can switch CDMA providers to something like Tracfone? I doubt I can ever get such a good deal again.

It was the last provider I eliminated from consideration in 2008
when I decided to go with T-Mobile,
which I calculated to be the best deal for me.
However, you may not be able to get prepaid service for an iPhone.

Please enter the ten digit number you are trying to access or press pound to access your voice mail. I tried both and nothing is working and I never set up my voice mail before on this phone. - IPhone doesn't give me option to setup voicemail? So I have voicemail messages pending. Whenever I press the voicemail icon in the phone icon, it just starts to call the voicemail but it just gets disconnected. I have never set it up & it's not an option in the phone settings either.
- I need iphone 4s setup My friend just got a new iphone4s she was wondering if she was to turn it on and let the battery drain, without connecting to itunes or going through the setup process, if the seccon time she turned it on (after the battey draining) that the setup process won't be there. Will the setup process still be there? Is it worth draining the battery? Or should she not drain the battery? Does it make much difference?
