How to share music in the same household between two iPhones?

We have separate accounts and separate phones but live in the same house. Is it legal to somehow merge our accounts or share files? If so, how?

If you both drag all of your songs from iTunes to the desktop and call it 'our music' or something simple (on PC at least) then you can drag the music of your friend/whatever from the newly created folder with the music into your iTunes and sync. It's perfectly legal. As long as you purchased the music I see nothing wrong in duplicating it for your friend and vice versa.

  • With Verizon, can two iphones share a data package of 2GB? I have an iphone right now and it costs $30 for 2 GB of data a month. My mom wants to get rid of her basic keyboard phone and upgrade to an iPhone. But she doesn't want to pay an addtional $30 for her 2 GB of data. Is it possible for her to just use some of my data and join my 2 GB plan?
  • Will all data share across devices on iPhones with the same Apple ID? My dad recently got an iPhone 4s for his birthday and I currently have an iPhone 6. My iMessages went on to his phone without me putting on any sharing settings. I do not have iCloud or anything like that. I was wondering if any other things will go through on his phone
  • Why can i Imessage from the same number, two different iphones? I just recently got a new iphone because the other is messed up. But for some reason as i switched over to the new phone, i could still text people who had imessage on the old phone. But people who didn't, i couldnt text on my old phone. Why does this happen? Is it because its not really a "text" message?
  • Two iPhones using the same Apple ID account I recently got the iPhone 5S and everything is fine with that. Prior to that, I had the iPhone 4S. The 5S is activated with my cell provider and the 4S has been deactivated. I want to use the 4S sort of like an iPod Touch. I'm using the same Apple ID on both devices. Whatever I do on one, take pics, edit contacts, etc, it shows up on the other device. I was wondering if there's a way to use the same Apple ID but not have the changes transfer over to the other device?
