How to shut off computer and just focus on study?
Why is it so hard to shut off my computer, tv, iphone and just focus on study. I mean to me, study isn't that hard, but what's really hard is to put away all the distractions and start to study. I have an exam on monday, and i work on the weekend, so that only leaves very little time to study, and i have to study from the start since i wasn't paying attention in class. And i can't study in a library cuz i hate to dress all nice and **** and study in public.

Then move computer to different area where you can't see it! Don't foget to never attend humanities or social programs, unless you wish to become a communist sympathiser. They draw you in by appealing to your sense of equality etc, but just bait you til you are putty then your goose is cooked… Just take different classes.
The subject of study is dull, you fear you can't learn it. It is something you feel is unimportant.
Your use of the other devices is to take your mind off the subject.
You need to find some VALUE in the subject that makes it more desirable to know.

Easy, unplug all the cords, take the battery out, lock everything up, then sit in a closet with your books (away from windows/distractions), and study!

You feel the need to multitask, and need something else to focus on while studying. I do that all the time. Just turn off the computer, get whatever you want to do on there out of your mind, and focus on studying. After you're done, you can turn it back on again.
