How to start up this small business?
I want to start a customizable iPhone case business… But I'm wondering how do I go about starting it? How do I obtain a bunch of blank iPhone cases? Wouldn't I need a main supplier, and if so, does anyone know of any good suppliers? I don't know what the first step should be to starting my own business. I know how to get the crafts to customize them, it's getting enough cases that's the issue. Please give me some guidance.
The Small Business Administration sba.gov has guides for starting a business and gives grants occasionally for those with a sound, detailed business plan.
I don't know that your business idea is that sound just because there's so much competition, lots of people selling designs printed cheap in China, online and local print on demand services print customer supplied art or printing from a large library.
Zazzle.com and Cafepress.com are examples of print on demand sites providing free 'stores' for people to sell their art designs.

More important then the specifics of how you produce or acquire the product is a marketing plan and sales projects in place before starting to invest in building a business.
Particularly if you plan to be paying rent for store space, you probably have to be a lot more diverse, selling phone accessories and printing images on other products as well.

- What language should I start with to start developing iOS apps? If I want to develop iPhone apps, should I learn Python first or just go straight to objective C or learn something else? I have 0 programming skills and have only done some web development. I have a Mac and Xcode.
