How to stop I message?

I just bought a samsung phone. I used to have an iPhone. I text me Dad ( he also has an iPhone) from my new Samsung and when he responded it was an iMessage that went to my ild iPhone using Wi-Fi. It did not come though on my samsung. I will no longer will be using my iPhone. How do I make it so when I text from my samsung the response will come back to it and not my iPhone via iMessage

You need to tell everyone who has iPhones that they need to switch your number to regular text messaging.

There's nothing to do on your end.

If you still have the iPhone turn off iMessage and FaceTime.

  • Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
  • Why won't my 5c send a message as MMS when it's a long message to a non iPhone user? Whenever I type a LONG message to an SMS user (says Text Message in the messaging "box") my 5c won't convert to MMS and the recipient gets the message in dozens of out of order messages instead of the whole fluid message. I have MMS on in Settings. What can I do and why is it doing this?
  • Why is my iphone making the message tone but no message? My iphone, for the first ever time made the message tone and I have no message? There's no app on my phone that makes the same sound either I have checked, apart from tweet on settings, but I don't even have twitter… I received a message 20 Minuits before this happened but I read it and replied… I have a lot of storage on my phone so it can't be that either… So what is it?

I changed the date to this day 5 years ago so I could extend my spotify premium trial (this actually works) but then me texts weren't sending or receiving same with BBM and Facebook and literally every other social network app and I couldn't connect to the App Store so I changed it back to auto and everything works but I want to stay on my spotify free trial please help
