How to stop myself from staying in bed all day?

I think I'm suffering from depression or something recently. I could stay in bed All day and just be on my iPhone or iPad. I try to wake up early in the morning to at least stay productive but it just is not working. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I just stay on my iPhone or iPad and browse through Instragram and Pinterest and stuff and just lay there for hours.

There are days in which I have had to skip classes to just stay in bed and be with my iPad.

Is there anything I could do to stop myself from staying in bed? Would anti-depressants help?

It sounds like you're in a bad relationship with your iPad. What you should do is get a job. That would motivate you to get out of bed. Only if you're depressed will anti-depressants be able to help. Find out if you have a lot of the symptoms and go from there.

If this behavior has been going on for more than three weeks, you need to contact a mental health professional to see if you have clinical depression or some other treatable condition.
