How to switch an at&t iPhone 5c to verizon?
I currently have an android phone and I'm using verizon, and my friend is using going to use her mom's iphone 5s and is going to give her iPhone 5c to me, but she uses at&t and I'm using verizon. Is there any way that I can use her phone?
You can't. AT&T is GSM and Verizon is CDMA, they're incompatible. AT&T phones are only GSM capable but Verizon phones (recent smartphones) are CDMA + GSM capable. So if it was Verizon iPhone 5C, you could've used it on AT&T but since the phone is AT&T, it won't work on Verizon.
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
- Will Verizon allow me switch out my iphone 7 for an iphone 7 plus? I do not have an upgrade available, to my knowledge, but I would be willing to spend a couple hundred bucks in order to upgrade. There are probably many details that I'm not giving that would decide whether I would be able to do that, but in general, would Verizon allow that?
- Switch my Verizon Basic phone to iPhone? Ok so I have an LG Cosmos through Verizon wireless. I really want an iPhone but they won't let me get one without the expensive Data Plan. My question is can I buy an iPhone online, and call the Verizon number and have them activate it with my number? Ya know like transfer my number to the new phone, to get around paying for the stupid plan. Using the iPhone kind of like an iPod that makes calls?
- Should I switch to Verizon or At&t to get the iPhone? I'm currently with T-Mobile, sharing minutes with my mom and dad. Sadly they don't have the iPhone. I'm switching next summer to Verizon or At&t myself paying for my own line. Which is a better service and cheaper? I would want unlimited Internet and texting and a minimum of about 500 minutes, not much.
