How to switch from my iphone 5 to my old Iphone 2g?
My iphone 5 broke yesterday and my upgrade is in two weeks, I have an old Iphone 2g laying around so i'd like to use that until my upgrade. Is it possible to do that switch? Because of the memory card or whatever. Please and thank you.
Call your provider. If it is the same carrier as your broken phone it should not be an issue but you have to call your carrier to do it. Sprint I know for a fact allows you use an old phone when such an incident happens. I know some carriers like AT&T all you have to do is remove SIM card and install in whatever phone you want with doing anything extra but Verizon and Sprint not so easy. Hope this helps.
IPhones don't have memory cards.
Technically it is possible, but many of the apps you have may not work the with the 2G.
Backup using iTunes & then restore from that backup on the 2G.
