How to sync iphone to itunes without deleting everything on my phone?

Hi! I need to sync mainly my music to itunes. The current set of music I have on itunes is out dated and everything on my phone is up to date. I believe as of now, if i try to sync everything tomy itunes, itunes will just delete everything on my phone and replace it with what is on itunes. There there any way to prevent that and have the iunes import everything from my iphone to itunes?

You can use a 3rd party software like this iPhone transfer to copy the music from iPhone to computer first, and then manually add the new music into your iTunes to join with the old music. Then you can sync iPhone with iTunes. This method worked for me.
