How to sync music to my Iphone 5s from a macbook pro without deleting all of my current music?
When clicking manualy sync music it still asks to delete everything all of my old music in order to leave the summary page! Somebody please help
Unfortunately, my friend, that's what syncing does. It copies from iTunes to your iPhone 5S so that they both contain the same files. During this process it deletes everything that's already on your iPhone.
What you MAY be able to do is copy the music from your iPhone into iTunes, then sync your phone. This SHOULD copy all of your… Files including the ones that are presently on your phone.
If you bought those songs legally…
- Download them again on the Mac. Both iTunes and Amazon allow you to download again.
- Then for iTunes purchases, use the "Store" menu of iTunes to "Authorize This Computer".
- Next, use the File menu of iTunes to "Add to Library".
For "not purchased" (nudge nudge) songs…
- Use iExplorer to copy song files from the iPhone to the computer.
- Next, use the File menu of iTunes to "Add to Library".
- Next, sync.
- Next, stop downloading "not purchased" songs onto the iPhone… Use the Mac for that.
