How to take a screenshot without the toolbar?

I see on people's iphones they have pictures from the internet but they don't have the toolbar or the time at the top. How do I do that?

I think they just crop the image.

Take a regular snapshot then under photos there should be an option to edit your picture, just crop out the toolbar

If you're using Android 4.0 or later, this is easy. Just press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time. You'll see an animation on the screen, indicating that the screen photo was saved. Android will save the image to your Gallery. Launch the Gallery app and tap Screenshots to view and share your screenshot.

This will be a "new" feature on iphone in a couple of years.

  • When I take a screenshot it doesn't go into my photos why? I have no clue where they go its just not working and I have enough memory because when I take pictures on my iPhone it goes right into my pictures but with screenshots it doesn't help!
