How to take cash out of my credit card?
I'm on this trip and I need a new phone, a friend offered me an iphone for $150 and said I'd buy it. The problem is I only have my credit card on this trip. How do I take cash out of the credit card?
Try: Go to the bank that issued your card, prove who you are, and get a cash advance.
Or, easier, if you have a pin for your card, just go to an ATM and you will get the green cash you asked to borrow.
You could either go to the bank and get a cash advance, or if you have a pin set up on your credit card, get the cash advance from there. It isn't recommended, since Cash advances usually come with about a 20-25% interest or so rate. (Depending what you signed up for) (different than APY)
Why not just go to a store and buy a cheap pay as you go phone, until you get home? Or (depending on the country) see if you could rent a phone?
Buy one of the disposable phones with prepaid minutes until you get home. Then choose a good provider and get your "new" phone through them.
If it's a mastercrad/visa. You go to a bank and ask for a cash advance - there's usually a fee involved and you will be paying 20-30% interest on that cash "boroorwed"
