How to take iCloud off of my iPhone?

So I recently bought a phone from a close friend. No, it's not stolen. I know this is her old phone. Well I bought it from her and she never reset it and never took her iCloud off, well now I've tried resetting it now it won't let me in because it wants her Apple ID for Find My iPhone and iCloud. I tried to get in contact with her about the phone but none my messages have gone through or she hasn't seen them and I'm just wondering how in the world can I get it off.

You can't, they have to do it.

Apple's security stuff can't be bypassed, it must be unlocked by using the password.

That question is asked daily on here; the answer is always the same. It does not matter how you got an icloud locked phone, it _is_ secured and only the previous owner can provide the info to reset it.

If you don't want to spend a dime for that, get hold of your friend and have the account removed from the phone. If you can't get in touch with your friend, you've to go for paid services. If you need help with your iPhone, mail me for more info.

Simply need to get into contact with her & ask her for the password to be able to get through. That's it.

There's no choice unless you get the password from your friend.
