How to take videos Inside a haunted house attraction using your mobile?

I tried taking videos in the dark. There's no way my IPhone XS Max could portray a good video in the dark. I watched videos in YouTube when vloggers visits a haunted house and everyone's using night vision. I tried night vision apps and none worked well with mine. Is there any equipment I could buy?

First of all, apps do a poor job for that purpose; you need the necessary hardware not software - it is like hoping that digital zoom (using software) is as good as optical zoom (hardware), it isn't.

the best option is to shop for cameras with night vision.
unfortunately, if you searched for "camera with night vision", you would be flooded with dash-cams for cars and motorbikes on eBay or on Amazon, so you need to be more specific like "Sony camera with night vision".

but it would be a much better option to try such cameras in person at shops and at exhibition-floor - because even the quality of the night vision differs from one model to the next.

there are some attachments that hooks into iPhones and other smart phones, but they are mostly FLIR cameras (forward looking infra red that episodes of the Ghost Hunters often use) that is also a night vision of some sort but it also measures the temperature of objects ahead. So instead of the black and green vision of the night vision, FLIR shows a rainbow range of colours of which red is the hottest objects (in temperature) and purple is the coldest.

i have seen proper night vision attachments for smart phones (non-FLIR vision), but they were poorly constructed, too expensive and wouldn't recommend it.

get a proper camera from a known brand with night vision. Such as Sony night vision cameras.
