How to tell if someone blocked you from their iphone on imessage?

I sent a text to someone (we were talking just fine earlier) and then all the sudden it didn't say delivered or read or anything. The text bubble is still blue. I'm just confused, did they block me or is the connection bad? Or is their phone off maybe?
