How to temporaily turn off calling and texting?
I'm going up to the lake for a week and want a break from all the craziness back home and just have some down time, so I want to justnot have any calls or texts come through for the week I'm gone. I would just leave my phone at home but still want it for the camera and music. I know I can turn notifications off but its too tempting to look. I don't know if airplane mode would do this? But is it ba to leave your phone in that for a week? I have the iPhone 5 with sprint.
Airplane mode.
Turn off the phone
Just take out sim card
If your not using LTE
Airplane mode will not damage your phone. It just turns the Wi-Fi and cellular radios off. Just go to Settings and touch the Airplane Mode switch. Be sure to turn Airplane Mode off when you're done.
- Will data be charged for texting and calling outside the country to another iphone? My girlfriend is going to costa rica for the summer and i need to know will me calling and texting her use up my date. It would be facetime audio and imessage only. Also i have att if that matters.
- Person keeps calling and texting me? So today this random number started calling me and texting me saying some crap. I have a jailbroken iphone so i started text bombing him and then he starts saying he is going to come to my house and fight me and i also posted his number on face book. He knows me some how or atleast knows someone thats knows me cos he got my number and he knows my name and where i live. - My iphone is calling and texting people whilst I sleep Woke up this morning to find a missed call from my mum, and a text asking why I'd called her, with a reply from me saying that I couldn't talk and would call her later. I know that this is one of the auto texts but I don't know why it would have sent it if I haven't clicked auto reply. I also have no idea how it phoned my mum with no assistance from me. Is this a technical problem or have I been sleep calling? Haha thanks for any answers
- Is it possible to block a number from calling and texting you? I have an iPhone 4S. I'm getting hassle from someone and I would like to block them from calling and texting me. I'm with Orange, I have called them and they said they are unable to block personal mobile numbers and could only suggest I change my number. I would rather not change my number. Any tricks or apps to block such a nummber?
