HOW TO TRANSER VIDEO CLIPS FROM A CAMERA TO AN IPHONE?
I want to record in my vacation but with a good camera but i wanna edit it on my iphone. How can i transfer the clips from my (canon) camera to my iphone 6? I'm not that smart with technology so explain easy?
I doubt that your mobile has enough working space in its memory, nor does it have the kind of program you need to edit video and add sound and music.
I did not even mention the fact that your iPhone has a tiny screen.
Video editors usually work with screens that are at least 24 inches, are calibrated and profiled and have video programs that provide all the necessary tools to edit, sync sound, add Foley and music.
Your mobile is just the wrong tool for what you intend to do.
Wait until you are home and can use your computer and the video editing program on it.
Do you know that a standard 17 minute video take is about 4 gb? How many takes do you think your iPhone can handle before it is too full to use ANY app?
At present, there's no direct way to copy video files to a mobile unless your camera has a Wi-Fi feature. The image files need to be first copied to a computer and then those files would be emailed to your mobile. At that point, there's no reason not to use the computer to edit your video
If your camera has a Wi-Fi feature, you simply use the camera company's recommended app on your iPhone to transfer the videos.
If your camera does not have Wi-Fi, then it's a two-step process and one that might not be convenient when you're on vacation. You must first transfer the videos from your camera to laptop or PC using a USB cable or by removing the memory card from the camera and inserting it into the card reader on your computer. Then, using either iTunes or an app called Transfer Pro, move the videos to your iPhone.
When you have the videos on your iPhone, you'll be very limited as to the kind of editing you'll be able to do. An iPhone is not an ideal editing platform. If you'll have a laptop or PC, that would be a much better platform.
If you have an iPad, you have a better solution, and a better platform for editing. Buy an Apple Lightning to SD Card adapter (available anywhere Apple stuff is sold) which allows you to quickly and easily transfer photos and videos from your camera's SD card to the iPad. This doesn't work for iPhones, unfortunately. If you really need them on your iPhone too, use Apple's AirDrop to copy from iPad to iPhone.
From camera, copy to computer. From computer, upload to iCloud. From iPhone, download from iCloud.
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
- What is the best bang for your buck video camera for retro style filming at 24 fps, 4K resolution, and no camera judder? Below $1,250? I use an anamorphic adapter lens for an iPhone 6s Plus(+filmic pro) and while the footage is 10 times better than basic iPhone footage, I can't help but notice the jerkiness of edged objects at 24 frames even when I'm holding the phone as still as I can. I've experimented with different frames, shutter speeds, ISO
- What is a good app or website used to make short clips or edit videos? Looking for some application for a iphone or pc that allows you to place music over videos and edit them slightly. Free or not i'm interested in any idea you may have.
- What can I use to keep iphone steady whilst making video clips? I live UK? I know that when making videos using a camcorder you can get a stand or a tripod as such but is there such a thing to keep an iphone steady whilst making videos? And where can I purchase? I live in the UK. Full points for most helpful answer.
