How to transfer music from my iphone to a new laptop?
I just got a macbook air and I'm trying to get my phone's music on to my laptop. It gives me the option to put my laptop's stuff on my phone, but how do I get it to work vice-versa?
Is itunes installed on your computer?
If not then install it that's how you access your i phone from your PC
It will not work in reverse like that. You can right click (two finger click or ctrl+click) the name of the phone in itunes and click "transfer purchases" and it will move over any songs you purchased from itunes. But if you got your songs elsewhere you can't move them from the phone to the computer.
If you still have your other computer with your media library you can turn on home sharing and wireless send the library from one computer to the other.
If you don't have the old computer then you might need to purchase a third-party software to move the music off the phone (itunes won't do it).
Most photo manage programs on Google can solve the program. I'm just using iPhone transfer platinum.
