How to transfer my iPhone 4S photos on to my Macbook Pro?

I plug it in with the USB cable and it doesn't show up in the finder. When I open iTunes, it shows get started with your new iPhone, and it starts to sync. I have NOTHING in my iTunes, not a song or anything, and I don't want anything to delete off of my iPhone. I just want to move the pictures to my hard drive so I can delete them off my phone.

Hi, I'm not familiar with iTunes and I'm afraid that my iPhone things will be deleted when I sync the iphone to iTunes. So I find a great app called 4Videosoft iPhone to Mac Transfer Ultimate to transfer iPhone photos, music, movies, etc to Mac for backup. It's very easy to use. With a few clicks, you can transfer the iPhone photos to Macbook Pro. Just connect your iPhone to the program via USB cable, and then select the photos that you want to move to Mac. At last, click "Transfer" button. My sister gave it to me as my brithday gift. I love it. You can have a try.

  • Will Google+ Photos distinguish photos from my iPhone and my Macbook Pro? I have Google+ backup for both my iPhone and my Macbook Pro (iPhoto) and I was wondering if it would distinguish pictures from the two. Like… "Photos from your iPhone" & "Photos from your Mac" Or, does it just upload them all into one place, and categorize all the photos just by date?
  • Transfer iPhone music/photos/apps onto new Macbook Pro? I just purchased a Macbook Pro yesterday and I plugged my iPhone 5 into it and was expecting the music to be automatically transferred to my computer, but that did not happen. How do I transfer my music/photos/apps onto my macbook? The computer I had previously used for iTunes is gone and unable to use.
  • Transfer apps from iPhone to Macbook Pro? Is there a way to transfer apps from my iPhone 5 to my Macbook Pro? So I will not have to repurchase them? (e.g. I have Pages on iPhone but not Mac, would I be able to download it again for free?) Thanks in advance Also, when I go into the Mac App Store, Pages is still available only for the paid price? I assumed it would just say "Download" or something. I mean the Mac equivalent of the iPhone apps, but just wondering if I can get them free?
